God made a covenant with Abraham
promising to make him a great nation and to bless all the families of the earth through him.
Genesis 15:18-21
He confirmed this with a land covenant, specifying the territory that would belong to his descendants.
Genesis 17:7-8
God declared this covenant to be 'everlasting'
Deuteronomy 28:64–65
God also foretold that if His people disobeyed Him, they would be exiled. Yet even this judgment came with a promise of restoration...
This promise carried through Isaac and Jacob (Israel), whose descendants became the Jewish people.
Ezekiel 36:24
God declared, 'For I will take you from among the nations...
and bring you into your own land.'
