As Passover approaches, the celebrations have already begun in Sderot with a remarkable initiative reaching some of the most vulnerable members of the community. A special event was recently held for elderly residents – many of whom are Holocaust survivors and individuals living under the daily emotional strain of ongoing conflict.
Those attending received supermarket vouchers, matzah, and sweet wine, allowing them to celebrate the season with dignity and joy. The highlight of the gathering was a heartwarming concert featuring beloved traditional melodies, bringing comfort and connection through the power of music.

Even in the midst of uncertainty, the love of Yeshu shone through. The care and compassion shown to these residents served as a reminder that we are here to help them.
We are so encouraged to see this kind of work taking place and are grateful for the partners and supporters who make it possible.
Please join us in prayer for:
- The elderly in Sderot, that they may feel valued, protected, and at peace this Passover.
- Continued healing for Holocaust survivors living with trauma.
- Those facing daily threats to safety, that they would experience real and lasting security.
- Strength and encouragement for all those reaching out with love and support in these challenging areas.
- Provision for further outreach, especially as the holiday continues.
Join us in lifting up Israel in prayer this Passover season.
