In July, the Cana Baptist church hosted a youth conference under the theme “Enlightened are the eyes of your heart” (Ephesians 1:18). This gathering brought together young believers for a time of deep spiritual impact.
A Glimpse of God’s Work Among Young People
The team at Cana Baptist Church asked for prayer ahead of the event, specifically that the Lord would meet the young people in personal and powerful ways — and He did.
The conference addressed many of the hidden struggles facing teenagers today: the bonds of sin, self-hatred, emotional wounds, and the challenges of following Jesus in a complex society. One of the most significant moments came during a prophetic action, where youth were invited to symbolically break free from the chains holding them back.
We rejoice in the report that one young girl gave her life to Jesus during this time — a clear and precious answer to prayer.
Honouring Those Who Served
We’re also thankful for the leaders and volunteers who served faithfully throughout the conference. Organising and leading youth events is never easy, but doing so in the spiritual climate of Israel — with all the demands, pressures, and battles — requires a special grace.
Please continue to lift up the team at Cana Baptist Church, that they would be refreshed, encouraged, and filled with wisdom as they continue to disciple these young lives.

Give thanks for the girl who accepted Yeshua — and pray that her new faith would take deep root and flourish.
- Pray for every young person who attended the conference, that the Word of God would continue to speak to them in the weeks and months ahead.
- Lift up the leaders of Cana Baptist Church, for ongoing strength, spiritual protection, and vision as they nurture this generation.
- Ask the Lord to provide opportunities for follow-up — discipleship, fellowship, and continued teaching for the youth.
