About City of Life

Located in Sderot, southern Israel, less than a mile from the border with Gaza, the “City of Life” ministry began in 2000 as a humble prayer group among young university students. Over the years, it has grown into a vital community pillar, reflecting the light of Messiah Yeshua and making his name known to the Jewish people in Israel.

Founded with the mission to spread love and support, the ministry is led by Pastors Michael and Dina Beener. Their leadership has steered “City of Life” towards becoming a cornerstone of social work in Sderot, actively engaging with the city’s most disadvantaged residents.

Their work

The congregation’s facilities in Sderot serve as the headquarters for their registered social help foundation. From this central base, the ministry meticulously plans various projects aimed at uplifting the community. They store and distribute humanitarian aid, conduct classes, and offer courses designed to support and empower individuals and families.
