About THE AVIV outreach centre

The Aviv Centre is a vital day outreach center in Tel Aviv dedicated to supporting those struggling with drug addiction. Drug addiction affects all segments of Israeli society, but the individuals we encounter in Tel Aviv are predominantly immigrants from the former Soviet Union, aged 20 to 40.

They also minister to native Israelis, including Jews and Arabs, as well as other community members. Their efforts extend beyond the individuals directly impacted, positively affecting their families – wives, children, parents – and the wider community.

Their work

Meal Ministry at Aviv Center Our journey began in 2005 with table ministry, street evangelism, and Bible studies. In 2012, we were inspired by the Lord to establish an outreach center in Tel Aviv, leading to the creation of the Aviv Center. Located next to a disused bus terminus in downtown Tel Aviv, known as the ‘Last Stop’ due to its severe levels of addiction and prostitution, the center has become a beacon of hope for many who feel they have hit rock bottom.

The Aviv Center operates 7 days a week, serving hundreds of addicts each month. These individuals come daily, often in dire conditions, seeking a bowl of soup, clean clothes, and first aid for their injuries. At the center, they encounter the unconditional love of Jesus and the teachings of His word, offering them not just physical sustenance but spiritual nourishment and hope for a better future.
