A terror attack occurred on Monday at Haifa’s Lev Hamifratz bus station, resulting in the death of one man and injuries to four others. The assailant, later identified as Jethro Shahin, a member of the Druze community from Shfar’am, was shot and killed by a security guard and an armed passerby. Authorities are investigating whether Shahin acted alone, with reports indicating he may have held German citizenship.

The victim, 70-year-old Hassan Karim Dahamsheh from Kafr Kanna, was fatally stabbed in the back. Among the injured was a 15-year-old boy, who was rushed to the hospital in critical condition but is now stable after undergoing surgery. Three others sustained moderate injuries and are being treated.
Eyewitnesses reported that Shahin exited a bus from Shfar’am, shouted “Allahu Akbar,” and began attacking those nearby. Police are continuing their investigation, including a raid on Shahin’s home.
The attack follows a series of violent incidents in Israel, including a car-ramming attack on Thursday that injured 13 people. Authorities have issued heightened security warnings in light of these events.
