We are deeply honoured to stand alongside the ministry of Netivah, a dynamic and faithful movement equipping the next generation of Israeli believers. As the nation continues to face conflict and uncertainty, Netivah is raising up young men and women to be spiritually prepared to walk boldly with Yeshua, even as they enter into mandatory military service.
This summer has been a time of intense ministry activity, fruitful, but requiring much prayer. Join us in covering these efforts in intercession, particularly throughout the month of August.
✡️ Chetzim (“Arrows”) — Discipleship Before Duty
This week, Netivah launched Chetzim, a three-month pre-army discipleship program. Nineteen participants, supported by nine dedicated staff members, began their journey with a pre-dawn desert walk and an opening ceremony atop Masada..
Please join us in praying for this special group of young men and women. May they grow deeply in their faith, build strong bonds of friendship, and be rooted in the Word as they prepare to serve their country. These are formative weeks that will impact their futures both spiritually and practically.
🛡️ Netzor (“To Guard”) — A Summer of Spiritual Training
Earlier in July, Netivah held Netzor, a 10-day intensive pre-army program in the Golan Heights, attended by 59 youth from congregations across Israel. Despite wartime conditions and uncertainties, the programme went ahead. We give thanks that these youth could experience the Lord’s presence and guidance at such a pivotal moment in their lives.
🥾 Yam L’Yam (“Sea to Sea”) — A Journey Across the Land
From August 10–16, Netivah will lead 150 youth and leaders on the Yam L’Yam hike, a 70km journey from the Mediterranean Sea to the Sea of Galilee. This serves as an opportunity to walk the Land, study Scripture, and grow in fellowship is unlike any other.
We ask for your prayers in the lead-up and during the hike. Please pray for:
- Protection and safety for all participants and leaders
- Strength and wisdom for the organising team, especially those juggling military reserve duty
- Hearts ready to receive from the Lord — through nature, teaching, and relationship
- Endurance, unity, and joy among the entire team — local and international volunteers alike
